The Programme story about young entrepreneurs inspired by projects CODE, 2CODE and CROWN is the finalist of Interreg Project Slam 2022!

The Interreg Project Slam, a contest that celebrates the achievements and shows the impact of Interreg programmes and projects is back. The contest is organised by Interact, EU-programme that supports all cooperation programmes. The objective of the contest is to create the best stories about the Interreg achievements.

This year’s Interreg Project Slam 2022 contest was opened to all Interreg projects and programmes whereas the focus was on youth, contributing to the European Year of Youth 2022. The applications in a form of storytelling presentation could have been submitted by 6 June 2022.

The Managing Authority of the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro applied to this year’s contest with a story about enhancing business environment for young people in the cross-border area with innovative ideas who want to become entrepreneurs. The story, which was inspired by the projects CODE, 2CODE and CROWN co-financed by the Programme within the 1st and 2nd Call for Proposals, was chosen as one of the 6 finalists among 40 other applications from 21 different programmes following a thorough evaluation by 5 judges.

The 6 finalists will get a full video production worth over 3.000,00 € each by the agency Old-Continent. The videos will be available for voting on Social Media Award competition on Interact’s Facebook page in September 2022 and presented at the Grand Final in Brussels on the 27 October 2022.

Until then, please check a video about the impact of the project CODE, produced for the Interreg highlights blog that collects the stories of real people whose life was improved by results of Interreg cooperation.

We will keep you posted on the next steps!
